Metamorphosis V (The Realised Being): The realized being is one that has discovered that he or she is a human being to the extent that they experience everything as themselves. In this piece, I captured the essence of what it means to be human, to be alive and responsive to what we are, to everything on land and sea. We are alive because constantly our bodies are responding to the air, earth, water, fire, and space. He is a Realised Being because it has always been there, but he missed it and then all of a sudden it entered into his experience. The transformation is from the personal to the universal, from the myopic view to the cosmic view. It’s so simple as we inhale oxygen because trees produce it, they have carbon dioxide because we exhale it. We have food on our tables because someone had to cultivate, another had to process and another had to retail. If this came into our experience, then there would be no need to teach one about love and another to take care of the environment.
