The golden lamp is a story about destiny. What does destiny mean to you.? In this piece, I portrayed destiny as an idea in the mind. If you look at the painting towards the lower left, you see the light source. That is how every idea starts. It’s always small and only in your head.
On the far right, you see the execution or achievement of the idea. But the big question is how did it happen. Like Mark Zuckerberg said once, ” ideas don’t come out fully formed they become clear as you work on them.” also there is no one way to every goal or dream. There are options, a lot of options. The one who birthed the idea must not know everything and must not have everything he/she needs to achieve it. You can see that in the painting, it is night in the big city, starting from the village at the lower left where the idea was birthed to the upper right where in this case my idea was achieved. It is night because ” we do not work out our destiny in clear daylight. Our lives are revealed and unfolded amid danger and darkness ” – Ignace Lepp.
And yes there is hope for the one that does not give up. With faith in the dream, he/she will figure out his way from having nothing but an idea in the village, through the city with many distractions, to that destination.
